What a glorious 2021 Olympic Games we are having!  It's lovely to hear our iconic 'Advance Australia Fair' playing at different venues and seeing those gold, silver and bronze medals adorning our athletes.  Here's to more to come!

Unfortunately, life isn't all a bed of roses.

As Australians come to grips with our current and tough situation,  we encourage people to support our local businesses. This has never been more important than at the moment with extended lockdowns meaning business is struggling.   Home-based business is beginning to bloom as people turn to online shopping.

Here at Missys, we too are faced with extreme competition from the larger companies with online selling, but pride ourselves on offering locally made and handcrafted earrings and hair accessories. Even through lockdowns we have come up with fresh ideas and products with you, our customers,  in mind.

Our latest product is a new range of wooden dangles. They are a modern, quirky and trendy earring style and Mel has been busy designing different earring options using wooden discs.

She has also hand painted the striking designs resulting in each pair being a unique and individual piece and we are delighted with the finished products.  The decision to attach them with a push through stud gives them a 'no fuss' appeal and a firm attachment.  They look sensational and are practical and you will wish that we had decided to make them before now!

We know that a lot of the community can't shop as they normally do and have to stay at home.  We offer you the chance to take the perfect opportunity to purchase gifts for loved ones whom you are unable to see or visit.  Receiving a parcel in the post with a surprise gift can give a boost to someone you love who isn't coping with the restrictions. 

Perhaps there is a birthday coming up or you just want to send a 'thinking of you' gift of encouragement.  It's amazing what a personal thought, even though it may be 'contact free', can do for someone's morale.  You can also feel good  when you send it to them knowing that it just might  'make their day'.

We would love to be part of that giving process and not only do we offer a wide selection of earrings but also hair bows and clips for the younger ones. 

Being from a regional area, our Covid restrictions aren't as harsh as elsewhere and our postage times are relatively the same as usual.

We are proud Aussies and even in these grim and unforgiving times, let's work together towards re-building a stronger and more unified Australia.. 

Let's all aim to be able to go outside without restrictions and shout 'Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Oi Oi Oi'
